  6.   CONVERT ALL is a menu-driven, easy
  7.  
  8. to use program that converts between
  9.  
  10. English and metric standards,
  11.  
  12. Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature
  13.  
  14. scales, and the decimal and hex ( or
  15.  
  16. binary ) number systems.
  17.  
  18.   If you wanted to convert five
  19.  
  20. kilometers to miles, for example, you
  21.  
  22. would choose the DISTANCE option from
  23.  
  24. the main menu.  You would then go to
  25.  
  26. the DISTANCE menu which displays
  27.  
  28. options such as "kilometers to
  29.  
  30. miles." After choosing this option by
  31.  
  32. typing "K", the computer prompts you
  33.  
  34. to enter the value you want
  35.  
  36. converted-- in this case, "5".
  37.  
  38.   The program then displays a
  39.  
  40. conversion table for kilometers and
  41.  
  42. miles, beginning with five
  43.  
  44. kilometers.  Options at the bottom of
  45.  
  46. this screen allow you to page forward
  47.  
  48. and back in this conversion table, or
  49.  
  50. begin the chart with a value one
  51.  
  52. higher or lower than the one that
  53.  
  54. currently heads the list.  You may
  55.  
  56. also return to the DISTANCE menu to
  57.  
  58. enter a new value or return back to
  59.  
  60. the main menu.

  62.   The same procedure is used when
  63.  
  64. converting weights, number systems,
  65.  
  66. liquids, and temperatures.  A special
  67.  
  68. option found on the main menu, the
  69.  
  70. STEP CHANGE option, changes the way
  71.  
  72. all conversion tables are
  73.  
  74. incremented.  Instead of the values
  75.  
  76. increasing by ones in the list, they
  77.  
  78. may increase by any increment you
  79.  
  80. wish.
